You can ask Carropana to delete your account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, what happens to your information, and answers common questions. Carropana is operated by Tiny Developers LLC.
How to request deletion
To delete your account and personal data, email privacy@carropana.com from the email address registered to your account, with "Delete my account" in the subject line. Sending the request from your account's own email address lets us verify that the request is genuinely from you.
Once we confirm your request, we deactivate your account and anonymize your personal data within 30 days.
Signed in with Facebook? This process also deletes the data Carropana received from your Facebook login (your name, email, and profile picture). Deleting your Carropana data does not affect your Facebook account itself — manage that separately in Facebook.
What gets removed
When your request is confirmed, we soft-delete your account and anonymize the personal information linked to you, including:
- Your name, email, profile picture, and login identifiers
- The contact details on your listings (phone, WhatsApp, email)
- Any inquiries you sent or received that identify you
- Your favorites and saved searches
We may keep anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you, and limited information required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Anonymization is irreversible, so a deleted account cannot be recovered.

How do you confirm a deletion request is really mine?
We process requests sent from the email address registered to your account. This verifies the request is genuinely from you and prevents accidental or malicious deletions.
What data is deleted or anonymized?
The personal information tied to you: your account details (name, email, profile picture, login ID), your listing contact details, your buyer/seller inquiries, and your favorites and saved searches.
How long does it take?
We complete deletion and anonymization within 30 days of confirming your request, and usually much sooner.
Is my data permanently erased?
We soft-delete your account and irreversibly anonymize your personal data — the information that identifies you is removed or replaced and cannot be restored. We may retain anonymized or aggregated data and anything we're legally required to keep.
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Because anonymization is irreversible, a deleted account and its data cannot be recovered. You're welcome to create a new account later.
I signed up with Facebook or Google — does this delete that account too?
No. This only deletes the data Carropana holds. Your Facebook or Google account is separate and stays under your control; you can manage or revoke Carropana's access in your Facebook or Google settings.
Can I delete just my listings instead of my whole account?
Yes — you can remove individual listings from your account while signed in, without deleting your account. To remove everything, send the deletion request above.
What happens to my active listings and conversations?
Your listings are removed from the marketplace and the contact details on them are anonymized, so buyers can no longer reach you through them.
